The Mission: Bridging the Gap Between "Tech Savvy" and Everyone Else
The "Tech Savvy" Barrier
I’ve always felt that there is an unnecessary gap in technology. On one side, you have the "tech savvy"—people who can spin up a VPS, configure OBS perfecty, and reverse-engineer APIs. On the other side, you have everyone else, who just wants to do the thing but gets stuck on "configuration."
My mission is to be the bridge.
I want to build utilities that take something hard—like setting up a private game server or configuring a high-quality stream—and make it accessible. I want to give you the power of a systems engineer with the user experience of an iPhone app.
Inspiration: The "Cal.ai" Moment
I saw a video recently (shoutout to Pieter Levels) that really resonated with me. He talked about how many "AI wrappers" are just solving simple problems, but the real value is in executing on the ideas that make people's lives easier.
I had a similar idea years ago—a Skype clone with real-time translation—but I got overwhelmed and never shipped it. I realized that execution is everything.
Why Streaming?
I’m passionate about content creation. I’ve edited videos for my cousin (a creator) and I’ve always loved the space. But I watch my little brother try to stream, and it’s painful.
- The Gear: Expensive.
- The Software: Complicated (OBS, Streamlabs).
- The Setup: "Why isn't my audio working?"
It should be one click. You should be able to click "Go Live" on your laptop and have a raw, high-quality stream without needing a dual-PC setup or a degree in audio engineering.
Enter Arcade-Verse
This is why I built Arcade-Verse and Arcade-Engine.
I’m not just building a game site. I’m building a factory for these kinds of tools.
- Arcade Engine: A Rust-based streaming engine that replaces the complexity of OBS.
- Nexus Hub: A tool to democratize "Cloud Gaming" and VPS management.
I am a solopreneur. I write the code, I design the UI, and I answer the support emails. I’m doing this because I believe the future of software isn't about more features—it's about less friction.
